Invited by the U.I.J Hotel, the classic Archive 1917 sneakers was selected as the base, and the vamp material was made of natural Vegetable Tanned Leather to retain the true appearance of the leather. Meanwhile, combined with the technology of vulcanization, it seems to be a pair of experimental shoes.

This design is based on research into sneaker manufacturing in Germany and Britain during the first half of the 20th century. Tailored to meet the needs of athletes, this type of training shoes became ubiquitous leading up to the first post-WWII Olympic Games. chenjingkaioffice® designed an exclusive classic training shoes based on this model, which is the second pair of shoes in the Archive series.

Children's shoes with straps on the instep appeared in the early 19th century and were originally worn by boys and girls. However, since the 1930s and 1940s in North America and Europe, these shoes were considered for girls. Furthermore in the 1920s, Mary Jane shoes were widespread among adult women.

Gurkha sandals can be traced back to the 19th century, having evolved from the military boots distributed to the Gurkha armies who were hired to protect the British East India Company’s interests in Nepal. Drawing on those original designs, these sandals are made with woven leather and have a closed toe. So they’re breathable, with an elegant look. Inspired by 19th century military boot designs, the Gurkha is crafted in woven leather. In 2020, a sandals that combines breathability, aesthetic, and elegance is launched, yet the first collection of classic sandals.

chenjingkaioffice® cooperated with wisdom® in a systematic and customized way. FW2015 Oxford engraved leather shoes, all hand-carved and sewn. The serrated sole and formal engraved upper show a composite balance. Through different aspects of design cooperation, more possible appearances are formed.
The whole process was made in Taiwan.
